When giving up is never an option… There’s just too much at stake. Your rewards are connected to your tenacious ability to retain joy and a positive attitude. Blessings are available daily, but there is a level you can reach when your blessings will surpass anything imaginable… Get there!

'We can't afford to faint our harvest is just around the corner."

'We can't afford to faint. Our harvest is just around the corner."

Faint – a temporary loss of consciousness resulting from a decreased flow of blood to the brain.

Whoa!  When you look at the definition of the word faint itself, you could preach a whole sermon on that alone.  We all have experienced our moments of weakness but did we faint, did we completely lose consciousness momentarily, or did we just pause?

Our youth pastor said that we should be spiritual smelling salts, for Christians that have fainted.  Our lives should awaken those around us as to what a blessed saint of God lives like.  Arouse a hunger in a weakened saint for  a level of  spiritual consciousness from the Holy Spirit that keeps the enemy on the run.

Live so you start a revival where ever you go.

When you understand that fainting however, temporarily hinders our reward process, you will try to carry your own “smelling salts” and use them every time you feel yourself getting weak.  Oh we can, and it is called the Word of God.

We must be determined to get all that God has for us, realizing that the only hindrance is us.  We must stop blaming God and we can’t even blame the devil; we just fainted.  So get up, take a deep breath and tell the Lord “thank you”.

A loss of blood to the brain, wow.  Understand this, without the knowledge (brain retention) of what Christ gave for us (his blood)  we will faint in the face of adversity.  Grab all the knowledge you can from his word and watch your spiritual strength soar.  We can’t afford to faint.  Our harvest is just around the corner.

2 Corinthians 4:15-17

15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Galatians 6:9

9And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

    In closing I tried to show the spiritual relationship to the direct definition of the word faint. Showing the spiritual correlation with each word gives us a deeper understanding in the concept of fainting in relation to the main scripture used for this blog.
